Nesting Boxes & Hollows

Kersbrook Landcare Group has teemed up with Conservation Volunteers to build much needed nesting boxes for both the Kangaroo Island fire scar and the Cuddle creek area. The next workshop will be held at The Joinery, 111 Franklin St Adelaide, on Sat 29th of February. 9am-4pm. No experience required. Hand drills will be useful. Pallet loads of nest boxes have already been sent to Kangaroo Island and have been distributed to several local conservation groups for installation.

Valuable tree hollows which have had to be cut down from unsafe trees will be collected and reused in both Kangaroo Island and Cuddlee Creek fire areas.
